When I Saw You This Morn

When a seagull flared its wings
And rode upon the wind.

When a flower reared its head
And kissed the birth of spring.

When the ashen clouds retreated
To reveal the sky.

The sun shone down upon your face
And stroked you with its pride.

When the dolphins danced their tune
Within their Earthly vase.

When the moon embraced the night
And scattered it with stars.

When the cockerill filled his lungs to
Welcome in the dawn.

They displayed a beauty like
I saw in you this morn.
